The Labor Day 5k/1 Mile is a fun and engaging run that veers through the heart of Kill Devil Hills, and which presents plenty of stunning scenery along the way, and ample reasons to come out and discover this coastal community.

The Labor Day 5k/1 Mile launches from the Kill Devil Hills Town Hall in the heart of town, and this central location makes this event fairly easy to reach for visitors staying all across the OBX, from Currituck to Hatteras Island. The course veers through scenic side streets that are just a shell’s throw from the water, and the entry fee includes race refreshments, an event T-shirt, chip timing, and a souvenir bub. All finishers will receive a special and unique finisher medal for their efforts, and awards are given to the top three males and females in several categories. A great event for runners, joggers, walkers, and anyone who likes to explore on foot, the Labor Day 5k/1 Mile is an end-of-summer event that fitness fans of all varieties will love.
