Discover the beauty and heritage of Manteo while enjoying a dose of holiday spirit with the 15th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes, which is hosted by the Manteo Preservation Trust. During this seasonal tour, visitors will be treated to an inside look of some of this town’s most charming and historically relevant homes while sampling light refreshments and exploring the heart of Manteo.

The event begins at noon at the Outer Banks Distillery, which is the home of Kill Devil Rum. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments at this initial stop as well as a tour of this historic building which has been beautifully renovated to its contemporary condition. From here, visitors are encouraged to walk, stroll or bike to the various residences on the holiday-themed tour, and all participants will be given a brochure to make locating the various homes a breeze. (Bikes will be provided as well to visitors, courtesy of Manteo Cyclery, on a first come, first served basis.) A tasting at the Outer Banks Distillery will cap off the festive afternoon, and is also a fine opportunity to meet and mingle with other history buffs. Fun for visitors and locals alike, the Holiday Tour of Homes is a great way to ring in the season with local style.
