Kids who aren’t shy around slimy and jumpy critters will have a blast learning all about these backyard residents at this special program that is hosted by the Elizabethan Gardens on Roanoke Island. The “Fun with Frogs” program is designed for the gardens’ youngest visitors, and will feature a world of interactive activities that will make both learning and exploring the site miles of fun.
Fun with Frogs is held at the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, which is renowned as one of the most scenic destinations and attractions for outdoors lovers. During this one-hour program, kids - (and their parents) - will get to engage in a wide array of activities which includes a scavenger-hunt tour of the gardens, a frog-inspired craft, and even get a light snack before continuing a stunning exploration of the gardens. Along the way, participants will learn all about the life cycle of frogs, and will have tons of fun to compliment this newfound education. The class is limited to just 20 participants, so visitors will want to arrive early to secure a spot. With lots of cool information, this program makes exploring the Elizabethan Gardens an unforgettable and entertaining event for visitors of all ages.
