Located at Pirate’s Cove Yacht Club, Fistful Sportfishing offers a variety of year-round sportfishing trips. Captain Karl Helmkamp is Coast Guard licensed and insured and will take you on half, three quarter and full day trips fishing for a variety of species. You will enjoy rockfish trips, sound and river excursions, and near shore and Gulf Stream adventures. The Fistful is comfortable having both heat and air conditioning allowing for fishing in all seasons. She has satellite radio, a CD player, and a private restroom affording a comfortable trip. The staff is local and knowledgeable about area waters, tackle, and fish species. All tackle and bait is provided. Lunch is included in the ticket price on all-day trips. All you have to carry onboard is enthusiasm, comfortable sport shoes, sunscreen, a jacket and hat! Before you know it, you will be cruising the waters of the Outer Banks and learning what the hubbub is about regarding this world-class fishing community.
