Electric Beach Tanning Salon

Unlike most businesses on the Outer Banks, the summertime is the quiet time at this tanning salon, meaning you’re more likely not to have to wait for one of the five tanning beds. But even if you just need to touch up your tan before hitting the beach, you’ll find what you need here.  The medium low-pressure “super bed” offers a 15-minute session for those gals or guys who haven’t tanned in a while, and the medium high-pressure 12-minute session (and most popular) is great for those with a “base” who want the quickest and tannest tan.  Sessions can be purchased individually or in packages. There are also at least 40 tanning lotions in stock,  ranging from the most fabulous and expensive, like Designer Skin Black, to mid-range, like Party at the Mansion, to the more affordable, like Super Black. The salon also sells wonderful skin moisturizers and exceptional outdoor tanners and spray-on tan. Twilight Teeth are also available for purchase to whiten your teeth while you’re tanning. In addition to tanning products, the salon sells purses, jewelry, sunglasses and designer jeans.
