A wealth of young and local talent will be on full display at this unique art show that showcases some of the brightest and best students of the Outer Banks area and beyond. The Dare County High School Art Show will be available at the heart of the Roanoke Island Festival Park, and is a fine opportunity to discover the budding artists who call the Outer Banks area home.

The Dare County High School Art Show exhibition will feature a wide array of mediums, (based on the individual artist’s interest), which may include ceramics, stained glass, wood and fiber art, mixed media, computer art, printmaking, sculpture, paintings, drawings, and photography. Starting with an opening reception at the beginning of the month-long display, the exhibition will display works by students from all Dare County area schools, including Manteo High School, First Flight High School and Cape Hatteras Secondary High School. With lots of reasons to linger and admire the vast collection, this show is shaping up to be one of the most unique gallery displays along the Outer Banks. The exhibit is free to all visitors, and is a great chance to discover legendary local artists, before they become famous.
