Dare Centre is a shopping center located on the westside of the bypass (Croatan Highway) at milepost 7. Stores and restaurants include Atlantic Dance Studio, Beach Express, Belk, China King, Cold Stone Creamery, Dollar Tree, Fashion Bug, Food Lion, Little Caesar’s, Outer Banks Sports Locker, Subway and Verizon Wireless. A Bank of America drive-up ATM is available in the Dare Center parking lot.
Ample parking allows for easy access to each store in Dare Centre. If you’re staying at a nearby cottage, Food Lion is where you will want to stock up on groceries for the week. You can also find affordable snacks and beach toys at the Dollar Tree next door. Belk is a huge draw, serving as one of the largest department stores in the Outer Banks. When you’re all screaming for ice cream, Cold Stone Creamery offers assorted flavors of gourmet, creamy ice cream with heaps of mix ins for a perfect made-to-order ice cream creation.
