Coastal Edge is a large surf shop that is locally owned with roots in Virginia Beach, Va. The Kill Devil Hills location sells skate and surf merchandise, including boards, apparell, footwear, watches, sunglasses, swimwear, wetsuits, back packs and other accessories by brands like Fox, Billabong, Quicksilver, O’Niel, Vans, Oakly, Vonzipper and much more. Along with the major surf and skate brands, Coastal Edge sells it’s own custom-designed merchandise designed by local artists. Coastal Edge t-shirts designs are creative and unique.
The store has a great selection of apparell for the whole family. Women will find an excellent variety of bikinis and sun dresses, men will find great t-shirts, hoodies and shorts, and childrens swimwear and clothing is also plentiful. There is a lot of variety at Coastal Edge, and the prices are very reasonable.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Coastal Edge is active in the local community. It supports local surfing and skating by sponsoring surf teams, skate teams and local events, such as the East Coast Surfing Championship. Coastal Edge has grown from its first location on Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, Va., to operating several stores in southeastern Virginia as well as the store in the Outer Banks. The store has grown along with the surf and skate community it’s helped to build.
