Owner Dr. Stephen Samson and his friendly and compassionate staff provide annual physical examinations, check-ups and preventative care, vaccinations, diagnostic and therapeutic services, surgical services, chemotherapy, anesthesia, internal medicine consults, radiology services, electrocardiography services, dentistry and in-house laboratory facilities.
Bathing and grooming services are available. Pet boarding is available onsite and pets receive personal attention from a caring staff.
Coastal Animal Hospital is also an emergency care vet. Emergency patients should call 252-261-3960 for after-hours emergencies.
Permanent identification, such as microchip identification is offered at the animal hospital. An onsite pharmacy maintains a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of pets. Dietary counseling is available as well as a selection of nutritional food and treats for pets.
Coastal Animal Hospital is a large, clean facility with several examination rooms and a small outdoor yard and pet exercise area. You can expect to be greeted by Coastal Animal Hospital’s dog, Maybelline, upon entering.
House calls are available by appointment.
