The folks who run Cameron House Inn really take pride in their establishment. The structure alone – an Arts and Crafts bungalow built in 1919 - has been lovingly restored.
You truly can relax at the year-round inn, which features six beautifully appointed guest rooms. The rooms also reflect an Arts & Crafts look, and each has its own appeal from differing, yet elegant colors, to changes in bed size and amenities. Some include feather sofas, a soaking tub for two, a desk or fireplace, and a gorgeous canopied bed for honeymooners. Their website is so user friendly. You actually can see the floor plans as well as each room and get a true feel for what you desire. These folks take the mystery out of shopping for just the right inn and mean it when they say that they want to pamper you and provide a haven of rest. Relax in a rocking chair by the outdoor fireplace or curl up in the living room with a good book.
The Inn also is just the right setting for your wedding! They provide services and packages that offer brides and grooms everything from a simple to a more elaborate island wedding. Whether you’re planning a special occasion or a quiet get-a-way, the inn serves all purposes. Breakfasts are diverse, filling and fresh. This is a pet- and smoking-free inn. Please call ahead if you wish to bring children.
At Cameron House Inn, you are within walking or biking distance of downtown and everything you could possibly desire – including the waterfront! Check in is between 3-7 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m.
