Join in a community effort to keep the beaches looking clean and pristine for weeks and even months to come with this seasonal Beach Clean-up that is open to visitors and locals alike. Held in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, this town-wide clean up allows visitors to contribute to the local environment all while meeting some great folks and having a lot of fun along the way.

The Beach Clean-up is hosted by a number of area organizations including the Outer Banks Chamber Diplomats and the Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, and is held on multiple dates throughout the summer season. (There are six beach clean-ups in all from late June until early September.) No registration is required to attend – visitors can simply meet at the edge of the Prospect Avenue Beach Access in Kill Devil Hills, which is located around milepost 8. Water is provided for all attendees, and the event serves as a great way for local professionals, community members, and visitors alike to network and enjoy some great conversation. With fellowship and lots of friendly faces, the beach clean-up is a great way to make some friends while doing a world of good for the Outer Banks environment.
