Depending on conditions, you might hook into Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Redfish, and plenty more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Trips with OBX Fishing Co are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You'll step aboard a 24' Privateer center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water, Tommy T. will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
