Local species include Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Striped Bass, Sheepshead, and more.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Esben also offers fly fishing and has all the tackle and rods you will need, but please feel free to bring your own.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your day begins aboard a 21' Bay boat that fishes up to 4 people comfortably.
Capt. Esben will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
