Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Keith can tell you all about them.
Species like Flounder, Whiting, Bluefish, Mackerel, Black Seabass, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Grunt, Pompano, Redfish, Gray Triggerfish, Weakfish, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 50’ Evans headboat with a capacity for 30 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water including an ice-cold air-conditioned cabin! There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you aboard.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.
