Spend the day with Gal-O-Mine and get hooked on fishing in Nags Head! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Brad is prepared to put you on fish.
Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, and more could be biting, depending on the season.
During the trip, you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Children are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Brad operates a 47’ Hudson Saltwater fishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Brad will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality, with Gal-O-Mine.
