The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is the home of the famed Outer Banks charter sportfishing fleet.
The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center got its start in the early 1950s, when local charter boat captains began to berth their boats near Oregon Inlet. This made for a quicker run to the Gulf Stream, than the old trip from Dykstra's Ditch, the canal at the foot of the Washington Baum Bridge adjacent to the Nags Head-Manteo Causeway.
Since then the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center has grown into a full service marina and the home of many boats of the famed Outer Banks charter fleet. A wide variety of fishing options are available. Anglers can choose from off shore trips for marlin, tuna and dolphin; inshore trips for amberjack or rockfish; or head boat on the
Miss Oregon Inlet. For reservations, call the booking desk.
