The pink rose with the bloom just above the lion's head is from Queen Elizabeth's rose garden at Windsor Castle and was sent to The Gardens in recognition of our celebration of the Bicentennial. Sir Peter Ramsbotham, Ambassador to U. S., came to the planting ceremony in October, 1976. | ||
