Visitors and locals of all talents and abilities are invited to come down to one of the southern Outer Banks most beloved attractions to help out on a project that will benefit everyone in the area community and beyond. Volunteer Days at the Frisco Native American Museum focuses on a special new outdoor project and exhibit at the museum, and is a great way for friends to come together for a worthy cause in the heart of the Outer Banks.

Over the past few years, a number of dedicated volunteers have been coming to the museum to help create the museum’s newest attraction – the outdoor “village” which will highlight what life was like for the earliest island residents. This weekend event has become a tradition for many visitors, however newcomers are always welcome to help out, meet new people, and put their talents to work for one of the Outer Banks’ favorite destinations for area history and culture. There’s an array of projects that still need to be completed, and this late October event helps the museum make progress on its ultimate village dream. Open to everyone, this weekend is a great way for locals and visitors alike to come together for a worthy local cause.
