Just 10.5 miles from the end of the paved road you will find privacy and shade when desired and fun in the sun with our handsome OBX weather and cooling trade winds. Located in the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, you won’t find the privacy and beauty of the beach like you will here on Carova Beach.

Ground Level: Carport parking and under home deck with sitting area and enclosed outside shower.

Mid Level: Open great room with flat-screen TV (Roku/streaming) and deck access, well-equipped kitchen and the dining room seating 4 with access to screened porch with additional dining table and chairs. Queen Bedroom that shares a full hall bathroom with a Bedroom with a Queen, Single and Trundle. Laundry with washer and dryer.

Extras: two 4x4 parking passes (with $50 cash deposit), TV (Roku/streaming), wireless internet, Direct TV, screened porch, gas grille, hammock swing, outside shower, games, books and linens and towels supplied. No Smoking. Dogs Welcome (2 dogs max 50 pounds). Mini Vacations available October 1- June 30. Beds: 2 Queen, Single, Trundle. House Address: Carova Beach. Distance to beach access: 650’. Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive cars such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.

Carova Beach is convenient for families with kids and older folks because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive car brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and appreciate the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and savor the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and tons of waterfowl on the sound.

This property does NOT provide beach chairs.

Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are supplied with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County. The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center. Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an e-mail 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.
