Horse Haven - Vacation rental home in Carova, NC

Horse Haven is a four bedroom, CANAL FRONT home located in the very secluded Wild Horse Estates section of Carova Beach. The famous Spanish Mustangs roam freely on this 12 mile stretch of barrier island. They love the grass yard at Horse Haven and you will love watching them in this idyllic space which offers a VERY private,1-1/2 acre, bulkheaded lot with dock. Other amenities include a private in-ground swimming pool, hot tub, below decks seating and outside shower. Bring your flat bottom boat and enjoy a week filled with outdoor water recreation on the Currituck Sound or use the the provided kayaks. But don't forget the white and wide sandy beaches of Carova, just a short drive away. Take your beach gear out to the beach and park, or walk out using the milepost 21 access. That half mile walk is not for the faint of heart but is completely do-able.
INSIDE Horse Haven you will find two levels of living area. The entrance level has a king bedroom, bath, living room and kitchen, Dish network TV and expansive decking overlooking the pool and the canal. Level two has another king bedroom with private deck overlooking the sound, as well as two more bedrooms with two twins in each. All bedrooms have TV's connected to DISH network, some TV's are also "smart". Horse Haven is such a secluded spot, you will feel relaxed as soon as you pull in. Bring your family, don't forget the dog, and enjoy all that Horse Haven has to offer; water sports, seclusion and Carova Beach just a short drive away. Come stay at this oasis, the horses will be happy to share their haven with you!

SUNDAY CHECK IN - 4 WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED - EXTRA FEE FOR LINENS or TOWELS - approximately 8 miles up the 4x4 beach. Pool and hot tub typically open May through Sept. Parking at the house is free. Guests will use two season passes that belong to the house for parking on the beach. 2 pets max will be considered (fee). No cats.
