Outside, a large sodded fenced-in pool area with hot tub as well as a bar perfect for seafood steaming feasts or just the afternoon libation. Inside, no expense was spared in the design of this upscale vacation retreat. From the recreation room with ping pong table, full wet bar, and oversized flat-screen TV, to the chic open top floor plan with its luxurious kitchen, living and dining room all of which are accessed by elevator. The theme of opulence mixed with comfort continues in the bedrooms with four of the five bedrooms masters and the one that is not, it a semiprivate bath shared with the downstairs media room. Beyond that four of the five bedrooms in Dawn’s Folly have king beds with one “kids” room featuring a bunk with trundle, all though are outfitted with flat-screen TVs and a full cable package. Folly may be in the name but, every detail of this spectacular home was well thought out with the express purpose of providing the highest-end Outer Banks family vacation possible.

Located just as you enter into South Nags Head, Dawn’s Folly is one of the few places on the Outer Banks where you can experience the comforts of a newly decorated and modern home yet still get the pleasures of the “old” Outer Banks vacation that made our beaches so famous. Replenished beaches with room for everybody are a highlight and except for two conveniently placed piers, you won't find any hotels or commercial businesses in this part of the Outer Banks. The end of South Nags Head is flanked by a National Park, and dolphins, whales and even seals have been known to make an appearance here. Situated not far from Jennette’s Pier, guests are also close to Outer Banks Fishing Pier, making this truly is a fisherman or nature lover’s paradise. Even if fishing isn’t on the docket, you're also centrally located, so you can enjoy a wide range of the local’s favorite activities such as the Bodie Island Lighthouse which is minutes away, Manteo, Hatteras, and even Ocracoke if you are feeling especially adventurous. Backing up to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Dawn's Folly offers privacy, seclusion, and amazing views.
