Join the Dare County Arts Council in a celebration of surf art at this exhibit that kicks off with an opening night reception, and which continues with an intricate display of surf-inspired artworks all month long.

The Surf Art Exhibit features a wealth of creative artworks and pieces that showcase all things related to surfing, which includes an array of local and historic surfboards, amazing surf photography, paintings, and / or other mediums, which will outline the rich culture of surfing on the Outer Banks. The exhibit, which will run for the enitre month of September, will kick off on September 2 with an opening night reception from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., complete with light hors d'oeuvres and an opportunity to admire the array of pieces before the exhibit goes public. Held at the Dare County Arts Council center in the heart of downtown Manteo, this exhibit is easy to admire for any visitor who is strolling through the picturesque waterfront region.

With a local theme and ample opportunities to explore, this month-long exhibit by the Dare County Arts Council is a great way for newcomers and Outer Banks locals alike to dip their toes into the thriving and undeniably unique OBX arts scene.
