Sea Era Charters invites you to sign up for a memorable fishing adventure in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Captain Dean Johnson has years of experience in these waters and will do his best to ensure your stay in NC is a pleasurable one. Anglers of all skill levels are more than welcome aboard!

You’ll be fishing on the Sea Era – a 42’ custom-built offshore sportfisher specifically designed with these waters in mind by Capt. Dean. It runs on a 510 HP Caterpillar engine and has more than enough room for up to 6 anglers to fish in comfort. Not only that, but it’s also got a toilet that comes very convenient for longer trips.

The waters of the Outer Banks are crawling with fish, so expect to have your hands full at any time of the year. Some of the more common species you’ll encounter include Cobia, Stripers, Bluefish, Kingfish and Spanish Mackerel, to name a few. Capt. Dean will be more than happy to show you the best ways of going after any of these and more.

He’ll also provide you with everything you’ll need for the fishing itself, from rods, reels, and tackle, to the necessary fishing licenses. Be sure to pack a pair of polarized sunglasses and some sunscreen, along with drinks and snacks if you’re so inclined. When you’re all set, come on down and get ready for a day you’ll remember for years to come!
