The Spotted Duck offers a beautiful, light filled Oceanside beach home in the Osprey neighborhood of Duck. This vacation home comes with amazing sound and pool views that can be seen from several decks and enormous two story windows. This spacious, modern beach house has over 3100 square feet and boasts large, open floor plan with soaring ceilings, great outdoor spaces and big, comfy furniture.  The beautiful mile-long Duck Boardwalk, restaurants and shops are just a short bike ride away. Quack. Quack. Duck is where it's at! 

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a carport with covered seating and an outside shower.  Entry level with laundry area including a washer and dryer. 

Mid Level: Great room with flat-screen TV, kitchen with counter seating for 4, dining room seating 8 with deck access, half bathroom and a King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private deck access with a hammock. Outside you'll find plenty of sitting areas for relaxing and the grill area complete with picnic table. 

Top Level: Recroom with a flat-screen TV and foosball table. King Bedroom with flat- screen TV, sitting area, private deck access with sound views that shares a jack-n-jill bathroom with a Bedroom with a DuoBunk. Bedroom with 2 Singles with a semi-private full bathroom (second door from bathroom to living areas) and a Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private deck access with sound views. 

Extras: 4 TVs, high speed internet access, foosball table, gas grill, outside shower, hammock, baby gate, picnic table, pack-n-play, parking for 5 vehicles and linens and towels provided and Osprey community pool. No Smoking. No Pets. Full week rentals only.  House Address: 110 Sailfish Court. Beds: 2 King, Queen, 2 Singles, DuoBunk. Distance to beach access: 1000'. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1213-C Duck Road, Duck Office. 

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Fireplace is not for guest use. 

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Beautiful sunsets, beautiful house, beautiful beach

Bright beautiful house, perfect air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and loaded with a little hang out places for our for kids to go and hide away from each other and their parents! We’ve rented lots of houses where the mattresses were basically ditches but the beds were perfect, the showers had great water pressure and the furniture was perfect for reading on cloudy days. Two minute walk to the beach with really comfy chairs from the closet and the pool is basically at the end of the driveway, plenty of room at both and everyone is really respectful of peace and quiet it seems. Beach in the morning, pool after lunch, beach after dinner. Watch a movie, play cards, have a few drinks and go to bed. Repeat 6x and go home ready to face the world again.

Osprey & Sea Ridge are within walking distance to dining or take a bike ride into town and enjoy the quaint shops in Duck Village. These peaceful oceanside communities are just north of the half-mile stretch of open dunes of the Army Corp property.

  • 2 Community Beach Accesses (located at the end of Spyglass Rd. and Norbanks Rd)
  • *Community Pool (open mid-May thru late-September, 9am to dusk) *Some homes offer community pool privileges (membership is optional to owners), please see the individual house page to see if this is included in your rental.
  • Sound Access at the sailing facility located on the Soundfront. At no charge, guests may launch small, non-motorized boats and sailboats. Parking is limited to loading or unloading.

COMMUNITY RESTRICTIONS

  • All items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach before 6:30am and after 6:30pm are subject to confiscation as well as a civil penalty. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night. 

Town of Duck - Tent/Chair/Shade Restrictions:

  • Set ups must allow for 15 feet, from the base of the dune, travel lane for emergency access and must not be closer than 10 feet to dune vegetation or turtle nest.
  • Set ups must not be closer than 50 feet, in any direction, from a lifeguard stand, emergency, or beach access.
  • Tents may not exceed 12x12, cannot be taller than 9 feet, cannot be tied together with another tent (unless they are perpendicular to the shore), must be spaced 10 feet from each other, and guy wires may not extend beyond the 12x12 max limit.
  • All shade structures must be secure.
