Latitude Adjustment is your perfect semi-oceanfront dream house! Only 1 lot back from the ocean in Avon, this house is perfect for the entire family. The fun does not stop after a day at the beach! Enjoy the stunning ocean views from the decks on all levels, the sunset views from the top floor sound side deck, a private pool, or a hot tub.

Ground Level: Ground Level Amenities include a fully gated private pool with a hot tub, a private driveway for parking up to 8 vehicles, an outside shower, a park-style charcoal grill, and nearby beach access. The entry door is through the covered parking area into the foyer with a laundry area and a large closet to store your beach gear.

Mid Level: As you make your way up to the mid-level, you will find 4 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 is a Queen Bedroom with a flat-screen TV and deck access that shares a jack-n-jill full bathroom with Bedroom # 2, containing a DuoBunk (Twin over Full), flat-screen TV and deck access. Bedroom #3 is a Queen Bedroom with a flat-screen TV, deck access, and shares a jack-n-jill full bathroom with Bedroom #4, which is furnished with 2 Twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and deck access. From the covered deck, you can access the pool area, hot tub, or the top-level sun deck.

Top Level: You are greeted by a Great room with vaulted ceilings, large windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, flat-screen cable TV/DVD, and deck access with ocean views. The dining area seats 8 with a wet bar/sink combo. The well-equipped kitchen has updated appliances, a breakfast bar seating 5, and deck access. Off the Great Room is access to Bedroom #5, the King Master Bedroom with a flat-screen TV, deck access and sunroom access with sound views, and a private full bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. As a bonus, make your way up to the loft, from the dining area, which has seating for 6.

Extras: Private Pool, Hot Tub, 6 TVs, sunroom, wet bar, sun decks, charcoal grill, baby gate, high chair, books, and an outside shower. No Smoking/Vaping. Dogs Welcome. Distance to Beach: Less than 500 feet. Beds: 1 King, 2 Queens, DuoBunk, 2 Singles. Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-In Location: Check-in at Property.

Garage is not available for guest use

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to the guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

This is the 2nd year in a row we stayed here. Hoping to stay here again in future years.. Our family loves the home, the pool, hot tub are great amenities when a break from the beach is needed. The proximity to the beach is so convenient.The owners keep the place kept up well. A new washer and dryer was installed prior to our stay. We also noted a new and better hot tub was installed from our stay last year.I was impressed with the cleanliness when we arrived- kudos to their housekeeping!

Location - really great. This house is directly across the street from the beach and there is an access walkway one house over. The supermarket and every restaurant are all within one mile. We couldn't have asked to be more perfectly centrally located than we were. Beach: the beach is a little thin, but there was still plenty of room for everyone, even at peak hours of the day. There were a couple of nice shelling opportunities in the early morning hours. It looks like they've had to build up the beach area over time because there was significant drop-off on most days when you stepped in the water. The waves were fun for our older children. In the later afternoons at high tide, the waves receded and it was great for the little kids. House: pretty much what we expected, plenty of bedrooms on the main floor and then a master on the top. We had little issues like a bedroom door not locking, no pressure in a shower, ice maker not working, that were resolved easily with the management team. The decks are sizable, we were mainly on the second deck because the top deck was very hot. The living area on the top floor is spacious. The outdoor shower was great to have, despite needing new fixtures. Pool: the pool was small and not very deep...perfect for the little kids. Hot tub was great to have. Surrounding area: if we would have known there was a full supermarket less than a mile from the house, we probably wouldn't have brought any food. Having this so close was great. Bros Sandwich Shop was lunch for us almost every day. We did take out from the area restaurants for dinner most nights, but none really stood out. Overall, enjoyed our stay, the location of this house is really a home run!

Our group was filled with a bunch of first time OBX vacationers. It is safe to say, we chose the right place to stay! We absolutely loved the location, a couple minute walk and your in the ocean! The house was perfect for our size group (3 families with children). We had a couple minor issues during our stay, but the property management team was able to address in a timely manner. We would certainly stay at this location again!

House was very nice and we really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, organized and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic with beach access literally 1 house up with a Trex deck to walk to the beach. Great views from the top deck. Great location close to shops, etc. and a great bike path. We had to call the property management company one time and they sent someone out to resolve the issue within 15 minutes which we were all extremely impressed by. Would 100% stay here again!

A WonderFULL Week for a 'Latitude Adjustment'

From beginning to end, our trip was excellent! We drove from New England and we’re not expecting so much traffic, so got there late Saturday night and were relieved that check in was so easy with the code to the main door. We were impressed by the cleanliness throughout the house. 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor were perfect for our family (2 couples, single sleeper, and a kids room) and the master suite on the top floor. Love that there were 3 bathrooms so there was never really a fight to get ready! We also loved the outdoor shower so we could wash off after the beach or pool before tracking sand into the house! The pool was small but absolutely perfect for us! My toddler loved it and was great to cool off! The hot tub was probably the biggest hit...we would use early morning and later at night to relax! There is public access to the beach right across from the house with a walkway so you don’t even have to take your shoes! I would recommend going to that access as the sand dunes are steep and also don’t want to destroy them! We also brought dogs to the house and we used various items to cordon off certain staircases that went down to the driveway...found this area very dog friendly and took the dogs for walks on the beach every morning! They did have to be on leashes but they were fine. To note, the waves in front of the house were fairly large (compared to what we are used to) and the dogs were kinda scared of the waves, so happy to stay on the leash! House was equipped with everything you really need in the kitchen. We brought our own Keurig just because we have some picky coffee drinkers. That’s the only thing I think could be upgraded. We went to the local Food Lion within a mile from the house. Truly convenient! We cooked breakfast most mornings, would order takeout from Bro’s Sandwich shop for lunch and tried to go out for dinner. We were a bigger party (8) so sometimes it was difficult to find places that could accommodate us for dinner or just would be a longer wait...but every dinner we had locally in Avon was delicious! We went to Oceana's a few times and didn’t disappoint! All so close to the house! We had the most wonderful stay here! Very COVID friendly vacation! Can’t wait to be back!

Great location! House has everything you need and more! We rented bikes and cabana from a suggested company and was super smooth! They delivered and picked up! The pool and hot tub were a hit with our crew! We had family in and out but with 5 bedrooms, lots of space for togetherness and few nooks for quiet time! We had a great vacation in the OBX!

Great for a Group!

We had a great two week stay at Latitude Adjustment. The location is great - Avon is less commercialized than some of the northern OBX towns. The house was one of the only ones in the 2nd row with a pool in the front of the house, which was amazing because you could still see the ocean! The Jack and Jill bathrooms are a little small, but they worked for us. The kitchen layout was perfect for a big group because some of us cooked while others hung out at the bar. The kids loved hanging out in the loft. One thing to note is that the sunroom off the primary bedroom doesn’t have AC, so don’t plan on anyone using that room as a sleep space. We loved getting seafood to cook at home from Sunrise Market and had a great night out at The Mad Crabber. The team at Shore Details was very responsive, which was amazing. The AC unit also broke during our stay, but the management team addressed it right away.

Many great restaurants in the area and easy access to the beach. Definitely recommend the pool heater as our 18 month old loved the warm pool even when it was a little chilly out. Management was very responsive through out the whole process.

Our family had a great stay! We would consider staying here again. It was comfortable for the 7 of us. The pool and hot tub were clean and was a fun option if not on the beach. We were impressed that the staff came mid week to tend to both. The beach was very close with convenient access.

Place fit our two families perfectly and that was made up eleven of us! The place was clean and in a great location. The path to beach is basically across the street and the view from the top deck was incredible.

All in all, a great time and perfect area. Access to beach was right across the street. Could see the ocean from many of the decks. Pool was a little small, but clean and adequate. Only real drawback was the lack of a bathroom on the third floor family area - to use the bathroom on the third floor, you had to go through the master bedroom. However, would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved spending the week here! The house was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms for our group. The beach is literally across the street so it was nice not having to walk far with three toddlers. The pool was perfect for our kids too. It's small but we didn't have to worry about them being too far from us while they were swimming! We would definitely come back to this house!
