Spring Break at Outer Banks

Clam I Am is a great house, and we had a great time. The house is nice and spacious. Getting to the beach was convenient, as was getting to shops and restaurants. Our son loved the game room and spent a lot of time playing pool and ping pong. The only room for improvement that we noted would be clean up of the back lawn, including fixing the broken volleyball net, updating the mattresses on the beds as they were very worn and uncomfortable, making sure the outdoor entrance lightbulbs are not burned out, and wiping down the kitchen counters. However, overall we were very pleased with our stay.
We would have liked for the rental company to have let us know that a house was being built right next door just a few feet from Clam I Am. The very early morning drilling and hammering was not a welcome surprise. We do realize that progress and building is going to happen, especially on such a busy street, but we should have been made aware as it may have changed our decision of where to stay based on our desire for peace and relaxation during our vacation.

We wish the maintenance and cleanliness issues had been brought to our attention immediately, as our team would have worked to handle them as soon as possible. We're happy to report that the issues were easily addressed soon after your departure. We will discuss the mattresses up to the homeowner as well. As for the neighboring construction, while this development is out of our control, we understand how frustrating this can be. Construction is common, and reports of this one slipped through the cracks. Nevertheless, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Clam I Am. We agree, the location and amenities are perfect for a family vacation. We hope you will give us another chance to impress you next time you visit the Outer Banks!

Clam I am Christmas vacation.

The refrigerator leaked.
Some of the mattresses were a little hard.
The mobile app did not work

Great Place for Our Older Ladies Beach Time

Great place! Incredible house. Each bedroom has private bathroom. Elevator was definitely used for those with mobility restrictions. Loved the game room. Easy walk to the beach and through the nearby trails.
Only suggestions new carpet and new grill. Overall one of the best we have stayed in for the last 20 years.

We loved the home. There was 18 of us in this beautiful home. It was very roomy. The walk to the beach was right across the street, which was perfect. The pool was a big hit every day. Everyone loved all things about this home.

Overall, we had a great time and loved the house! The only issue we ran into was with the grill; the grease trap had not been cleaned in a long time, which actually caused a small fire. We were able to handle it but this is something that should be maintained moving forward.
