This home was absolutely perfect for our family. We only had nine people. We all enjoyed the convenience of the pool, and it was nice entertainment with my four small grandchildren. We had lots of other families staying in the Nansemond subdivision, so it was close for us. We were really looking for a place with a pool for the young grandkids.

Our family has been vacationing in the Outer Banks for over 28 years and have rented numerous homes. This home has been one of our favorites. It is very apparent that the owners care about their home and their guests. This is the first time we have seen every single light switch identified with a typed label that clearly eliminates playing with lights and outlets. The home was very clean and very well-stocked - especially in the kitchen with plenty of silverware, dishes of various sizes, colorful coffee mugs, a regular coffee machine, as well as a Keurig, and plenty of pots and pans. A BIG PLUS is that the bed linens and towels are also included with the rental. The home is tastefully decorated, painted in beautiful beachy colors, and very comfortable. The location is wonderful - a very short walk to the beach. The parking spaces are more than adequate. There are tv's in every room, and the books are back in the bookcase again! A totally enjoyable experience in a lovely, comfortable home!!!

The kitchen was more well-stocked than any other beach house we have rented (and we have rented more than 30 houses over the years.) The decor was beautiful, and there were many thoughtful touches (helpful signs on electrical outlets/switches for example.) Lots of nice deck furniture.
