Beautiful landscaping, quiet atmosphere, and remarkable wide-open views of Croatan Sound. Westside Inn provides the perfect intimate waterfront setting for your wedding or other special events, with its picturesque wooded setting on Roanoke Island, in the heart of North Carolina's Outer Banks. The property has spacious lawns, a small private beach, multiple gardens, and the most amazing sunsets! The owners have enjoyed this property with their family throughout the years and recently decided to open it up for others to experience the beauty and tranquility of this area. The spacious and pet-friendly home has large open living areas, a sunroom, 5 bedrooms, and 3 baths, bordering the Sound about 80% the length of a football field.
Featuring 3 split levels, the home offers easy separation of activities and privacy. Guests will find the great second level living area with classical style furniture and decor, as well as the kitchen and dining area. Brew your morning coffee and enjoy it from the enclosed sunroom overlooking the water, or maybe while taking in the island forested views. The first level living space offers a private escape from Westside Inn's more populated areas. It is a great spot to watch your favorite TV show, play games, or just grab a book and enjoy the peacefulness outside the window overlooking the Sound; or just sit back and relax. This TV room is often referred to as the groom's hangout space for weddings. There are two bedrooms at the end of the hall that share a bath, one King bedroom, and another that has two twin beds. Both provide linens and comfortable furnishings.
The third level is where you'll find the King En Suite bedroom with a private bath that opens onto a large deck where guests can enjoy the scenic sights and sounds of Westside's secluded setting on the sound side or access the special bride's dressing room on the opposite side. The other two bedrooms on this level are both Queen bedrooms, offering comfy accommodations that share a full bath, plus a sound view for one.
Whether you are looking to plan a small event, a wedding with up to 150 guests, a family reunion, or just a weekend getaway, Westside Inn will meet your needs. Unparalleled privacy, amazing sunsets and ample outdoor space await you on this unique property overlooking Croatan Sound with its small beach and two breakwaters.

I just wanted to share with you, and your staff, as well as the property owners of Westside Inn, what a wonderful time we had at the property this past weekend.
My family went there to honor my sister who passed away from cancer in February and it was the most perfect backdrop for her celebration - she would have loved it and we felt her presence all weekend!
It was so nice to learn the history of the house and the owners from the article in the kitchen, and we're so appreciative that this family has shared the beauty of their home/property with others.
It was a magical weekend all the way around we're very grateful we could experience the Westside Inn! Just lovely. Thank you, again.

West Side Inn is the best location I have ever stayed at in the OBX and I have been coming since I was a small child for vacations staying in various beach houses from Duck to Manteo. Manteo is a hidden gem with small town feels but calming and grounding. West Side Inn is the perfect location to relax, unwind and connect with loved ones. This home was great for our 3 families. We all had our own separate spaces, but the living areas were large enough for us all to hang out together comfortably. It was in a quiet neighborhood on the water, but close enough to shops, restaurants and beaches. The home was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time.
