Great Time at Bright Dreams Ahead!

The house was a perfect size for our group, with 5 bedrooms fitting our needs perfectly. Each room also had access to a private bathroom, which was so nice! Decor was great, beads and couches very comfortable, and we made use of the awesome pool and hot tub. The house is affordable and is only a 5-minute walk to the beach, without crossing major roads. The only concern was some crumbs on the floor and dirt on toilets when we arrived, and the house is definitely well used, with stains on cabinets and carpets, and could use an update at some point.

Family Vacation to Duck

Bright Dreams Ahead was the perfect house for us! Plenty of room for our whole family, with room to spare! We didn’t need for anything . 2 minutes from the beach and a 15 minute walk to the cutest town of Duck. We can’t wait to go back!

Great House!

House was a winner for everyone in our family of 12. Fit our size group perfectly. Plenty of room, LOTS of thought went into proving all conveniences and needs necessary. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Definitely shows owners pride. Location is at the back end of the neighborhood - a 5 minute walk to the beach access. However, we rented a golf cart from Zoom Around and made getting back and forth to the beach and into town super fun!

Great Vacation in Duck

This was our family's second stay at this property. Unfortunately, we arrived to find several maintenance issues - like the pool lining ripped and leaking and the kitchen cooktop damaged so badly it was totally inoperable. Pool people came quickly and we were about to use it. Cooktop was not repaired and we were forced to use an electric frying pan - which thankfully was included in the property kitchen. A quicker repair would have made our stay much nicer. We have already rebooked this property for 2023, but just might complain louder if these large items are a part of the picture!

A Bright Dreams Week!

Luxury at the beach

The kitchen was top notch. Enjoyed having all the different living spaces considering the variety of ages, from 14 to 74. The pool was in constant use and the closeness to Duck and the beach was handy.

We loved our stay at Bright Dreams Ahead. Great location, beautiful home, and the pool was wonderful. My entire family all had a great time. There was plenty of room in the house where we could all eat and socialize together, but still have our own space if we wanted. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards to take to the beach. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous House Near Duck and Steps from Beach

We visited Bright Dreams Ahead with two other families and it was fantastic! Three separate suites for the parents plus two rooms for kids (plus lots of other space). This house was very clean, super well-equipped and had great extra spaces for everyone to spread out. Only about a 5 minute walk to the beach, it was easy to go back and forth. We especially loved the open kitchen/family room, lots of eating space and outdoor space. Highly recommend!

This home is like you're home away from home only better. Modern and newly updated. Large pool. Only a few minor things that need to be addressed. The washer needs a good cleaning and the pool was not cleaned the week we stayed there. This house is a short walk to beach, no lifeguard on duty.

Great stay in Duck

This house is just on the other side of the S. Shores sign so you are south enough to go to Nags Head and don’t have to sit in traffic too long! Short walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants in Duck Village which is nice. It’s about a 5 min walk to beach. The house has very high end appliances - done we barely knew how to use! Well stocked and clean. We liked the layout too. Pool and hot tub were a huge hit as well as the basement. Tons of fridge space and an ice maker. The house was the perfect size for our 3 families. The only downside is you don’t have any water views. You are right off the main road.

Best Beach House for Family of 12

A Family Beach Trip that was perfect. This is our 3rd year vacationing at the Outer Banks, and this was by far, our favorite house. We had everything, and more, that we needed. It is updated, beautifully decorated and the layout of the home suited our family of 12 perfectly. The owners have thought of everything!!
