Whether you choose to relax by the luxurious private pool, retreat to one of the 6 King master bedroom suites for that all important nap or quiet time or choose to be adventurous and cane pole fish for bass and catfish at the community pond nearby, your every need is addressed beyond your expectations whether you are inside or outside at this beautifully appointed home.

Location is key when you are at BEACH CABANA, minutes to great restaurants and shopping whether going up to Duck or Corolla, or heading to Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, you'll be back at Beach Cabana in no time.

After a day of fun and sun on the Beach, relax in the PRIVATE POOL (pool heated by heat pump-ambient air temperature of 60 degrees needed to heat the pool); or soak in your private hot tub. Outside bathroom by pool for your convenience after a day at the beach. A beautiful covered Cabana Bar which boasts a wall mounted flat screen TV which swivels for better viewing, refrigerator, microwave, sink (hot & cold water) table with high bar stools under roof, also bar stools around front side of the bar area. This is all located right next to the pool for those great poolside festivities and there is even rope lighting for evening gatherings as well. Gather the family after dinner in the GAME ROOM w/pool table, microwave, icemaker and wet bar for a special family time with games and activities. With 9 CATV/DVD combos everyone can watch their own shows, or gather in the main room for movie time. Theater Room with 3D, BluRay, surround sound with 60" FLAT Screen TV and beautiful theater seating.

Christmas at the beach

First, Beach Realty was super helpful in getting the turn day switched for us. The house was super clean had everything we needed for our stay, including a magnificent Christmas tree. We really needed a house with an elevator,which of course this house has but the bonus was the two utility carts that we rolled out to our cars, loaded groceries and luggage onto, rolled them to the elevator, then to the appropriate floor. This house is very well maintained and stocked. The walk to the beach was nice too.

Great house but maintenance needed

This home had everything we needed to have a great family vacation. We had more than enough space for 4 teenagers and 4 adults. Location was great with easy access to attractions, shopping and eating. Beach access was a short walk or drive. I feel that the property could use a deep cleaning. Many areas were dirty, worn out or in need of repair. Upon arriving there was particles of food on the coffee table and dining table. The floors also had dirt on them. The master bathroom toilet seat was dirty. I believe that the cleaners just didn't do a thorough job. I would choose this property again as long as maintenance items were done.

The best family fun at the perfect home!

Our stay was the utmost fun with this home close to the beach,the town of Duck and to shopping, wave runners, parasailing and any other water sports you like.

Our home was perfect for a large family with 8 bedrooms and 7 full bathrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms with one conveniently located by the pool. Our favorite space was the pool and pool cabana! They had a refrigerator, sink and grill right next to the pool.

Large living /dining area for family meals. Two of each refrigerators, ovens, toasters, coffee makers, dishwashers, washers and dryers!!

Movie theater room for those relaxing down times with a small frig and microwave right outside the room.

We rented bikes for rides to Duck. So much fun. Southern Shores is close to shopping and restaurants.

Our favorite home away from home.

Crary family vacation

We were a little disappointed. All the tv did not work,supposedly was a dish problem. They told us that on our last day. Ants through out the kitchen and washer/dryer rm. That was taken care of early. Bathroom in the master and across the hall were not cleaned. Wednesday a rat decided to visit us by the pool.I spent alot of money on this vacation. I hope that these issues were taken care of before a new vacationer.

Best Rental Ever

Our extended family has been renting in the OBX for many years and we all agree that Beach Cabana is, without doubt, the best home we have rented. The number and size of the bedrooms, the numerous bathrooms and the home’s location, just a brief walk to the beach on a very quiet block, and close to Duck, made it perfect. There were so many amenities including a large pool, elevator, theatre, game room and two of every appliance needed. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked and the dining areas, adjacent to a large deck with a gas grill, easily accommodated our family of thirteen. There were also many beach items and the home even provided bikes for both children and adults. I chose this home because of its numerous positive reviews, and I am glad to add mine to the mix. I have already reserved it for next year and, I hope, for many years to come.

We have been in OBX for extended family vacations for over 30 yrs and this cottage is one of the best. Quiet, safe street for kids, room for large family. The refrigerators- there were 2- on main floor, along with the screened in porch, pool and tiki area were used daily. Furniture and beds were comfortable. This is a well maintained cottage with every amenity. Highly recommended.

Wonderful family vacation

This home was amazing! Plenty of space for my siblings with their families. The cousins were able to swim in the pool or hot tub all day and we were only steps from the ocean to do a family beach day. Kitchen was great for big family meals. Crapy weather, but great house!

While the weather was worse we've experienced in our 20 years vacationing in OBX, the house was perfect. It was equippedand set up like we would set up a vacation house. Everything was perfect and made for a great week with our family in spite of the weather.

Wonderful Week at the Beach!

The home was lovely, and we appreciated the kitchen amenities! Very close proximity to the neighborhood fishing pond, the ocean, and the town of Duck. I really enjoyed my stay everything was nice other than the pool light did not work. I called for service and was told someone was going to come and fix them and no one came or contacted me the whole week I was there. I was in contact via phone and text message with a Megan and Lynn. And both ladies informed me they were placing a service for someone to come out and no one came. That was disappointing since I booked this house in hopes for a nice pool light setting for my wedding that took place this week.

The house in general is great with bikes, beach chairs which we stop bringing.I only asked Beach Realty for two things, to have the pool and hot tub cleaned and to fix a screen on the screen porch.I was told the pool people come on Tuseday or Wednesday they never show.We will book this again only because of the house not because the service from Beach Realty of NC. I hope they do a better job next year. Its not asking too much for a clean pool and hot tub which we us a lot. The rent has'nt gone down but the service has I hope the owner see's this review. We've rented this house for many years and hope to continue in the furture but if the service does'nt step up we might look elseware.

Wonderful home with lots of space for many people! Love the pool area, short walk to beach, deck space, large kitchen, etc. Only issue was we couldn't find the parking pass to ride to the beach (it was only 1/4 mile but my husband had a knee replacement recently. We called every day about the pass, but never got one.

Great Family Vacation Home

The property was awesome! It had everything we expected and then some. There were at least 10 beach chairs, plenty of pool toys and games. There were also a lot of movies but it’s a good idea to bring any favorites your family might like. Each bedroom has a chair which has always been appreciated by my elderly mom. The kitchen was well stocked, we even made a cake! The beach was a 2-3 minute walk down the street. The kids especially loved the theater and the cabana was great! I can’t say enough about how terrific it was!

Overall, excellent house and amenities. Very clean, spacious, and pet friendly. Heated pool was terrific. Location to the beach was ideal which resulted in being able to go watch breathtaking sunrises without any fanfare. Elevator and carts were very helpful. The theater room needs a furniture upgrade. The hot tub jets were weak and the area is a little dreary. Needs a little color to liven up the area. Definitely would rent the house again.

Awesome time at the beach

The house is just a short walk to the beach. The house is beautiful but a little run down. The jets were not working properly in the jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bedroom. The hot tub jets were not working very well either. The movie room chairs are old and the leather is falling off in big pieces. They were all over the floor. Overall, we had a great time. The upstairs is big enough to accommodate puzzles, games and still eat. There are a lot of pool toys and floats available to use. The pool area was awesome.

Our 2021 family vacation was a success! So nice to see OBX 'waking up' fully again after 2020's COVID changes. Great location, nice site with wooded back yard giving privacy from neighbors and beautiful birdsong during the day. Location continues to work great for our needs - both to the beach and local attractions. The house is perfect for our large group and well-supplied with everything needed.

Great Week at the Beach

This house was perfect for our group. Great pool and cabana area gave us no reason to leave the house. We did make the short walk to the beach and had plenty of room to ourselves. The street is a dead end, so very little traffic. House has everything you’ll need, including a grill at the cabana and a second one on the top floor. So convenient! Looking forward to going back!

House Approved by Everyone in the Family!

This was our first year renting the house and we had a combination of adults and young children staying there. The house was well-suited for everyone in the family, with plenty of amenities. The walk to the beach was easy and short and the pool and outdoor bar area were great for when we didn't want to spend the day at the beach. We felt that a one week stay really wasn't enough to enjoy everything the house had to offer!

My family has been coming to the Outer Banks for the last 25+ years and this is by far one of the best houses we have stayed in. The 6 master suites make it great for our family and significant others and the huge living area could be enjoyed by everyone at once. We have renewed the house for next year and would highly recommend the house to friends and family.

The ice maker didn't seem to work while we were there and the pots and pans could use a little updating in the kitchen. But overall, the house was in great shape and we can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay! Lots of items that make vacation even better, bikes, beach carts, and floats for the pool (we added some new ones as well!). Grills are in excellent shape. Lots of dishes and silverware. Loved having multiple refrigerators as well as double dish washers and washer/dryer. If we have the chance to come back, we would definitely stay again!

This house was very clean and comfortable and was fully stocked with everything our family wanted. The main living area is huge with plenty of seating. Wonderful week at Beach Cabana!

We have stayed in the OBX for family reunions (12-20 people) 18 times in the past 23 years. The Beach Cabana property was one of our favorites. Highlights: a shaded cabana with a microwave and full size fridge next to the pool, a commercial size fridge in the kitchen that easily held 6 gallons of milk, a couple cases of water, and all our food, 6 king masters (and the two top floor masters had a short hallway with a door that served to deaden noise), a theater room, an elevator with two carts, a grill by the pool and the top deck, a short walk to the beach, being south of Duck/Corolla (shorter drive), and a responsive manager when we texted any questions. Superb property!

BEST HOUSE EVER!

This was our first time staying in Southern Shores / Duck and we were not disappointed. We had 12 in our party ranging in age from 12 to 90 and there was something for everyone. The house was clean and well apportioned! They had everything - elevator, beach chairs, carts, umbrellas, pool toys, sand toys, plenty of space for everyone, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, 2 washers 2 dryers, you get the idea!
The real draw was the 6 master bedrooms all with king beds, own bathroom, and balcony. The kids had their own great spaces too and the pool table and movie theater were a hit! The short walk to the beach was awesome as well.
Our only complaint (and it really isn't a complaint) is that we wished the salt water pool was cooler. It was very warm due to the heat outside and nature of salt water pools but all questions were answered promptly and it is clear that the owner puts a lot of time into making sure this house is well taken care of!
Highly Highly recommend!

A vacation to remember and cherish!

Beach Cabana is a beautiful, spacious house with exquisite decor whose owners seem to anticipate your every need. Our extended family of 14 had a delightful stay enjoying our time together but were able to retreat to the rec room, the theater room, the many decks, the swimming pool or our own rooms whenever we needed some private time away. Although we experienced a couple of issues/problems during our stay, Beach Realty was quick to respond to rectify any problem. I would not hesitate to recommend Beach Cabana to all of my friends!!

This house was just beautiful, spacious and a perfect lay out to enjoy all the amenities! The only negative was the advertising of available bikes on the property. They were not in working condition. If you want to ride, bring your own bikes or rent them. They should take the bikes off the list of amenities unless they maintain them. During busy season, it may be an issue if you can't find bike rentals. Otherwise, perfect!!

Fantastic Home for the Entire Family

It has been several years since we had a 'family vacation' due to the growing needs of our family. We carefully researched vacation homes in the Outer Banks before choosing Beach Cabana. This home was the perfect space for all of us! It accommodated all of the needs in the family (from the great kitchen to the beautiful bedrooms to the media room, outside pool space, etc., etc.). Just an overall terrific vacation property that resulted in wonderful memories for all of us!
