Nagshead visit

We absolutely loved the location of this home and appreciated being near a lifeguard/public beach with children.
We wished there was a large table on the top deck so we could dine with out entire family outside.
The home smelled musty and had water damage in many locations. A dehumidifier of some sort would be a huge help, instead of the circular containers all over the two bottom floors.
Overall, the space was great for our group and we had a fantastic vacation.

A RAINY WEEK AT THE BEACH

OTHER THAN THE RAIN, NICE WEEK. THE HOUSE WAS NICE AND AS ADVERTISED. HOWEVER, THE DUNES SEEMED RATHER BUILT UP AND WALKING UP AND DOWN FROM THE BEACH WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT FOR THE OLDER PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP. I'M ALSO USED TO THERE BEING STEPS AT LEAST 1/2 WAY DOWN THE DUNES.

Beautiful stay in Nags Head!

We stayed for a week - 3 families, each with small children. The house’s location was super convenient and we loved being so close to the beach. Great views in the AM of the ocean too. Having the pool for the kids was fabulous, and us adults enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Kitchen was super well stocked - and the layout worked well with our group. We did have an issue with the AC not working properly, but Beach Realty got a serviceman out quickly and we were able to resolve it. Can’t wait to go back again next year!!

Annual Myers vacation

We had a blast and loved having a private pool. Everything we needed was at the house. We never could get a reservation for a dining out but we all cook so not a real problem. Our ages were from 3 to 69 and there was something for everyone. I recommend the aquaramine. It is small but great.

Nice stay. Weather was yucky but we can't control that. House was nice. Certainly a big house. Beach Realty staff were very accommodating in moving us from April to October because of COVID. Awesome OBX Rental

We rented the house after Labor Day weekend and we had a blast. The house is beautiful and what can be better than a house right on the beach with a private pool and added bonus of a hot tub. We will definitely rent this house again.

Awesome Stay

Very nice house. Favorite things were the huge and extremely well stocked kitchen; it had EVERYTHING you could possibly want: Loads of cookware including a huge steamer pot which we used often. There was a blender, 3 regular coffee pots AND a Keuring! Tupperware, PLENTY of flatware, dishes, mugs, and glasses. It even has an electric wine opener! The hot tub is amazing and well placed on the top deck. The AC worked great on all levels and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of beach gear, pool and sand toys, floats, a beach tent, and corn hole. The only negative thing were the pool chairs most of which were broken and no outdoor table to eat by the pool. Grill was at the pool level. I would suggest a sign on the beach near the entrance stairs because people would mistake it for the public walk.

The location and the beach are great. It has an attractive interior decor and is spacious. The pool is very nice for the kids and the hot tub was well maintained. On the negative side, the house needs an electrician as half the light switches don't work or work poorly. Garage lights and exterior lights are out. At night, the decks are overrun by palmetto bugs, so an exterminator is in order. Lastly, during our stay the town was pulling heavy equipment off the beach for four days which was very noisy and made access to the beach more difficult.

Great home needing some upgrades

Rental company was easy to work with. Would have been better if early check in was available. Property needs some updates. No access from top deck, fire hazard, god forbid, no ice maker, a must for convenience. Location is fantastic. Pool was used everyday by the kids. Dunes have covered the steps to the beach making the walk up and down to the beach difficult. Very steep! More than 3 cars would be very difficult for parking. Our family had a fantastic time. Towels did not arrive until 8:00 forcing us to cancel our dinner out.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunday Drive. The house and furnishings are beautiful
We feel the bedroom on the bottom floor could not be counted as a bedroom because the bed is too high for a child and way too short and uncomfortable for an adult. We also chose not to use the room with the twin beds because the mattresses on those two beds are unacceptable. We were able to double up and sleep comfortably in the remaining beds. The pool and the hot tub were a great addition to beach fun. The kitchen is well equipped and having the sheets already there saves on packing space. All in all a great vacation home. With a couple of new mattresses it would be perfect.

The location is perfect. I do think that the property needs some attention. The landscape of the home is not very appealing. The grass and trees are overgrown. While we were there a few pieces of siding fell off from the top of the house. We also noticed that some of the window frames are starting to dry rot. There were also Ants (on he kitchen counters), spiders and roaches (mainly on 3rd floor). The patio furniture is also not in the best shape. A lot of the chairs were cracked or broken that we had to use our own folding chairs (pool side). In all, I would recommend this property to others and would stay here again.

Our family just spent a wonderful week at Sunday Drive. The house was great with all the amenities you can ask for. It was our family’s first vacation with our kids and grandchildren. The house was very clean and there’s nothing we were unhappy with. The only suggestion my wife and I would suggest is the Master Bedroom on the top floor have the bed moved under the other window in the room and the tv cabinet moved over to be in front of the bed. Currently it’s just a difficult to watch tv the way it’s setup. Thank you so much for renting such a nice house. Our family will share memories for many years to come.

Sunday Drive was a very good house.

The location is great. We were within walking distance of restaurants, beach supplies, activities and goodies. Groceries were just a mile away. Everything was convenient.
We had just a few issues which were taken care of quickly by Beach Realty. The house was very well equipped. The beach was wide even at high tide. Luckily hurricane Irma turned inland and kept the rain away, however hurricane Jose kept the waves very high all week long.
There were lots of beach toys and a few beach chairs. The pool water warmed quickly.
Everyone really enjoyed both house and location.

A Great Family Place

We had a great time and the house and location had all the amenities that you could want. It was our first time in Nags Head and we were not disappointed. The weather was bad for the first half of our vacation but since the house had a hot tub and things to entertain (Wi, DVDs, games etc...) we found things to do. We had an issue getting the cable tv set up on arrival but we were finally able to get that worked out-may be a good idea to have better directives made available-it took away from our arrival excitement because we all were going from room to room trying to figure out how to get it working-it never did work in the master bedroom but we just got over it. The sea was angry during the entire stay; however since the property had a pool and hot tub the fact that we could not swim in the ocean was not an issue. Kitchen is well equipped and overall we had a fantastic time. The house itself could use a good powerhouse but I guess it is difficult to keep it looking clean with all the sea air and use. We loved the keyless arrival-made things to easy. Overall we loved the house, the area and we had a very memorable vacation!

Wonderful Home on the Beach!

This home was perfectly suited for our family vacation at the OBX. The location was ideal, the view was fantastic and it was an easy stroll down the personal walkway to the beach. The home was very well stocked with kitchen items and was comfortable and roomy! It also had extra beach and pool items. We did call Beach Realty to ask for light bulbs to be replaced and the customer service was friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend this house to a friend. Our family enjoyed renting bikes, walking to a nearby ice cream and surf shop, ghost crabbing at night, swimming in the ocean and in the pool. This vacation was one of the best we have had!

Overall wonderful week!. One problem was when we arrived there was a bin of dirty linens outside that we assumed would be picked up. We had ordered linens. We noted no towels in the house so thought they weren't included and went out and bought some. We did not realize there were no sheets on the bed till 10:30 pm, no answer to the contact phone #s we had. We planned to go to the office the next morning for sheets but found them outside in a bin with towels, we had no idea when they were delivered. Suggest letting guests know how that system works. We did make all our own beds. Also most TVs were difficult to get to work and the top floor bedroom TV was not visible from the bed because of the cabinet door. Still had a great time, loved the views!

A relaxing escape

Once we were settled in (the intrusion alarm was accidentally armed and blasted at us during the first half hour of our stay), our time at Sunday Drive was the relaxing retreat we were looking for. The property was easy to get to, private, and well maintained. Who doesn't love soaking in the hot tub after a long day, listening to the ocean, looking up at the stars?! It was an easy walk down to the beach, and a nice stroll to the nearby pier and some shops and restaurants. Three master bedrooms provide privacy and diversity for large groups and families. The spacious kitchen allowed for cooking and socializing. All in all, I'd do it again!

My biggest request / complaint is that there weren't screens in the windows. On mild days, we couldn't open the windows to enjoy the ocean breeze and fresh air, which was pretty disappointing.

Renters should be aware that there are no cleaning supplies or spices at all. Properties I've rented before have been lightly stocked with some of these "basics", but we had to purchase salt, pepper, trash bags, sponges, dish soap, and hand soap from the nearby grocery store. Not blaming the property for this, but I would have found it good to know before the trip.

In general the experience with Beach reality was easy and professional. There was some feeling of nickel and diming to death, but not as bad as other experiences I've had. Towels and linens should be included. Keyless entry is a wonderful thing. The outside of the property needs some upkeep. All the decks of the property are nice, although there are a fair number of nails sticking up which are hard on bare feet. The view of the ocean is awesome.

Overall, the house was LOVELY - very clean. GREAT location! Close to everything...especially the beach.

Sunday Drive Beach House 2016

Very good experience overall. Weather was beautiful until TS Hermine came through the last day we were there. House was perfect and had a great view from living room and dining room of the ocean. Top deck right off living had a hot tub and also a great view. Pool was perfectly situated to catch afternoon sun and keep water comfortable. House does have a lot of steps so you just have to be careful with kids and make sure the gate(s) are up. 2 bedrooms on second floor had their own doors leading out to the second deck which was very nice. Adequate bathrooms throughout which was nice when getting ready for dinner or to go out and about. We had a great vacation.

Great Place to stay

We had a great time and fortunately we had awesome weather to. It was a relaxing week with my family and new grandchild. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Everything was pretty convenient inside and out. Would definitely like to stay at Sunday Drive in the future.

Great family vacation home

over all the house was perfect condition some one came out every day to take care of the pool. Every food store and Walmart very local to this house.Would diffeilty do a vacation again at this place.

Port-a-potty view

Better then Good, A person showed to inspect Tv Cable after we had arrived, he said he was running late. we didn't let him in, we were unpacking, Beach access next to cottage had people going to the bathroom outside of the port-a-potty, several people tried to use the cottage access to exit the beach. Sand was to steep for my mom & Dad most of the steps covered in sand.
