Relax on the rooftop deck and take in the fantastic ocean views and beautiful sunsets over Jockey's Ridge from this lovely estate in the heart of Nags Head. Enjoy the fabulous private pool, hot tub, covered bar area and bathhouse cabana! After a day at the beach enjoy a friendly game of pool or shuffleboard in the game room! Or if you prefer, this home is close to area restaurants and shopping! Every bedroom is a private suite with a full bath!

Second floor "Rocking Chair Porch" with rocking chairs. Porch is covered by deck above and makes for a nice place to view the ocean and passers by. Outdoor seating with two tables and four chairs each, one by the pool and one at the end of the second floor catwalk. Six colorful chaise lounges, five by the pool and one on the catwalk. Four Adirondack chairs, three on the second floor rear deck overlooking the pool and one on the top floor rear walkway looking towards Jockey's Ridge and the hang gliders. Extensive hardwood flooring on second and third floors and all stairs. The public beach access is to the south at Small Street offering easy beach access and public parking. Beach access is 700 yards from home.

Great First Visit to OBX!

Our first trip to OBX was great, we will definitely be returning in the years to come. This house had everything you need for a large family. One call out is that the public beach access is NOT close even though you can see the beach from the house - you will want to get a golf cart or be prepared to drive to the beach, the closest access is about a half mile away. Overall the property was great and I would recommend it for a large family gathering!

great house for a family vaca

the house was great for our multi-generational family! the highlight is the pool area with grilling station, good sized pool and hot tub. Only issue is the distance from beach access but it'a a nice walk for those in shape and the beach access with parking is not far. Lots to see and do in the area and the beach is not too crowded. the balconies were a hit after a day on the beach or a kayak float. the owner responded quickly for the 1 item we called on (smoke detector beeping) and the staff at Beach Realty were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a large group.

The house was nice but the internet is not very good at all, a few mattresses and TV's could use replacing and house needs an electric can opener. Great plus is each room having its own bathroom. Overall pretty good experience and would rent again

Took a long weekend to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and this home was perfect. Well equipped, kitchen well stocked and organized, masters in all bedroooms, beautiful views, close to everything. Only gross thing was the green, slimy pool when we used the hot tub and grill was very off putting. Just put a cover on it! Would definitely rent this house again!!

We found the house was built wrong. Kitchen on the wrong level, but the house was great. We found small ants in the kitchen. We had to call for the Ac to be fixed after we bought fans for the lower level.

It helps to maximize views with the common areas of a home & not just bedrooms. Ants are unfortunately a common nuisance but can be taken care of very easily if we were notified. We do see that a service call was put in for the AC not working, and that technician was out the same day, I am glad to hear that it was expedited! 2019 OBX Multi-Family Vacation

Overall we had a wonderful week and the property was very nice. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of room for 3 families (14 ppl), nice pool area. What could have been better: needs new mattresses in the top floor bedrooms, one sags into the middle and the other is very hard, needs sand and net for the volleyball court since that was one of the advertised and pictured amenities and we couldn’t use it because neither were there, beach access is a bit of a hike if you have small
Children or anyone in your group that cannot get around well.

Our family reunion/80th birthday celebration for Mom couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The home is beautiful and well kept/clean. Home was stocked with every kitchen item necessary. My only suggestion since traveling with mom would be to have one shower with bars to hold onto in a walk in shower. Walking up 3 story house was also difficult for her to navigate but managed.

What an Awesome Vacation Home!

We loved this house so much! We were a larger group, however it was big enough that we never felt squished. The game room downstairs was perfect for the rainy day we had. We used each of the decks every day, and the pool was a major hit!

The only thing that would make this house nicer would have been a beach access point across the street, be we were so pleased with the pool area that we didn’t mind driving to get beach access.

Great Gathering Place

The house is as described and offered a great place for our group of 17 to meet, eat and hang out. It was furnished with way more than we thought - no need for us to pack a lot. We were disappointed when, on our first night stay, all fire alarms in the house went off and continued to be a problem for an hour and a half. This started at 12:30 a.m. It took maintenance 40 minutes to get there. After replacing all batteries and two detectors, the rest of the stay went great. The pool looked great but didn't open until May 1st but really an awesome layout and extremely nice home to stay in.

Great Fall Get Away

Overall, it was great. We went with a lot of family members that we do not see on a regular basis so it was good to have 8 master suites. I would definitely stay again in the fall. However, due to beach access, I am not sure I would stay in the summer when I wanted to go to the beach on a daily basis and hall a bunch of things.

Late September Vacation

The property was great overall. The beach access wasn't quite as close as I had thought - it wasn't convenient to lug coolers and umbrellas to the beach, but since we were there later in the season, we didn't have much issue getting a parking spot in the public lot. Great location to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. The house wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but I have heard that is to be expected at the end of the season. Overall a great time, plenty of space for the large group we had.

WEDDING VACATION

It was a great time with friends in a great house. The issues we had were minor. The sand burs need to be dealt with. Everyone got them attached regardless of the area around the house they walked. The hot tub was fixed in a timely manor as well. The game room could use some updated pool sticks as well. Regardless of what other people do we befriended the family across the street and walked through their property to the beach. If you are an introvert, you have quite a walk to beach access.

Jockey's Ridge Haven August 16-23

This was the 2nd time staying in this house. Love the house and the location. However, we were disappointed this time to find that the house was not cleaned very well. When we arrived, there was garbage on the upper deck, there were things left under the beds, one bed was broken, and there were ants all over the kitchen counters. The handyman did come quickly to fix the bed and pest control came for the any problem but it persisted throughout our stay.

Excellent Family Vacation

We had a mini family reunion/vacation where family was going in from 6 different states. The house was prefect for our size family. The kitchen is a little small for the size of the house. It's only big enough for 2 people working/cooking. The kids really enjoyed the game room & pool, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. There were not many walks on the beach due to the distance of the public access area and the age of the children.
The pictures were exactly what the house looked like, with the exception of the porch swing, which was not there.
We would rent from beachrealtync again, wonderful staff.
