This is a luxury oceanfront condominium with a spectacular ocean view. This first floor unit is very spacious and offers a 3 bedroom floor plan. It is beautifully furnished. This comfortable, well-appointed condo makes a great spot for a gathering of family and/or friends. Enjoy the views and ocean breezes on the beach-side deck or make the very short hike down to the water itself, you really can't get much closer to the ocean. Scrimshaw condos are centrally located just north of the Wright Brothers Monument and virtually right across the beach road from popular Goombays restaurant.

Nothing has been overlooked in designing this quality oceanfront condominium, the ultimate in vacation accommodations. For your convenience, a Stair Tamer Cargo Lift(community managed) is available to help carry your luggage and groceries to the first floor. The owners have installed (2023) Amazon Firesticks on all of the TV's so you're welcome to sign in to our own accounts and pick up where you left off on that favorite show of yours! Brand new HVAC system installed (2023).

** No Pets. Please note: RVs, boats and trailers are prohibited from parking at Scrimshaw II. Two vehicles per unit.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful oceanfront condo that delivered on everything it promised! The condo was perfect for 3 adults and two children. The condo is conveniently located to a lot of shops and restaurants. Loved everything about this place! Especially being oceanfront!!!

Beautiful Condo

Stokes was a lovely home in a beautiful location. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Furnishings were very comfortable including the 2 large decks. There were some great games in the unit which we enjoyed. The luggage lift was a nice extra.

Had a great week at Stokes condo! Beautiful view of the ocean, short walk across the dunes to the beach. Large living room, plenty of seating. TV in bunk room was not connected, so kids could not watch. Nice master suite, door from bedroom to deck. Great for morning breakfast. Kitchen is a little tight, one person cooking. Would rent again.

The rental was clean. My family loved the location as it was a couple of steps away from the beach. There were no issues throughout our stay. We had good customer service. The best was Parasailing!! We went out eat at Chili Peppers Coastal Grill and ordered in from Outer banks Seafood Boil Company, which the family loved.

Biggest Deck in KDH

The 2 Covered Oceanfront Decks were like 2 additional rooms. We were able to stay out on the decks during a rain storm & stay dry. There are plenty of games located under the main TV. The kitchen is smaller than the pictures reveal, but room for 2 people. Walked to Goombays B&G. The luggage lift was an awesome back saver!

The amenities at 'Stokes' were amazing. Everything was updated and very modern. The kitchen was well equipped and was easy to cook in. The living area was spacious and the bathrooms made it very easy for multiple people to get ready at the same time. I'm not sure if this unit is non-smoking or not because I didn't see it mentioned but it does smell of smoke when you enter it. Otherwise we had a wonderful week and would do it all over again.

The Best Week of the Year

My friends and I have rented this property for several years now and always look forward to our stay. It's our yearly oasis. Our condo is always clean, comfortable, beautiful and inviting, often upgraded in some way from the year before. We love the outside deck overlooking the ocean and the location in general is unbeatable. We appreciate the ocean view, the close proximity to the beach, the family-friendly environment, and the excellent restaurant and shopping choices nearby. We highly recommend this property.

Annual Stay at Stokes

My daughters and I stay at this condo every year and are rarely disappointed. The location is central, the beach is very nice and great for boogie boarding, and it is usually not crowded on the June dates when we go. The unit itself is well appointed and comfortable. The addition of a big screen TV was a nice bonus this year. The ocean views are outstanding. The dunes block a direct view of the beach but I actually prefer that and focus on the birds and Dolphins that are always there to greet us. The only detractor is noise from families upstairs and sand and debris that fall through from their deck on the seating and tables. This could be fixed with an under deck gutter. Not sure why they have not provided this upgrade. That small inconvenience hasn't stop me from coming back though. The downgrade on cleanliness was due to the previous tenant clearly smoking inside. The smell was very strong on arrival and the rental company said there was nothing they could do. A few hours with the windows open and a can of Febreeze fixed it but it's a shame that some people abuse the privilege they are given when renting someone else's home.

A+ retreat for us, for our 10th year!!!

This is our thenth year we've rented this unit and each year we are amazed by the view, the great neighbors, the space on the beach, and how well this property is kept!!! If it ever comes up on the market we will be first to make an offer!!
