Cap off a long day on the beach with a family-friendly movie night at one of the prettiest outdoor venues in town with this special showing of The Secret Life of Pets at the Duck Town Park.

The Secret Life of Pets is the story of a spoiled terrier who enjoys a comfortable New York lifestyle once his owners step out of the home. Filled with lots of laughs, this movie will appeal to theater fans of all ages, and especially the youngest vacationers in the park.

The movie is shown at the temporary “big screen” at the Duck Town Park, which is located in the heart of town, and which has a stunning location on the edge of the Currituck Sound. The gates open at 7:00 p.m. for movie goers, and visitors can enjoy a stunning sound sunset before the film officially begins at dusk (which is usually around 8:00 p.m.) Families are encouraged to bring along their chairs, picnic blankets and popcorn, and in case of inclement weather, the movie will be moved to the Paul F. Keller Meeting Hall. Free to the public, this special movie night at the Duck Town Park is a great opportunity to enjoy a little scenery as well as a captivating flick in a single night.
