The Lost Colony, America's premier symphonic outdoor drama, tells the epic story of early English attempts to colonize Roanoke Island. Celebrating our 85^th Anniversary, a company of talented artists and technicians from around the nation create a magical evening of music, dance, drama and history for your entire family. Don 't miss our Native American Cultural Presentation, beginning at 8 PM (pre-show) on Fridays and Saturdays, performed by indigenous members of The Lost Colony Production.

** Please note that Waterside Theatre is an outdoor venue. The safety of our patrons and performers is our top priority - therefore we occasionally have to make the difficult decision to cancel a performance due to inclement weather. If we have to cancel the show for any reason - ticket holders may exchange their ticket(s) for another performance thru the 2026 season. Patrons may also choose to purchase "Performance Cancellation Insurance" up to 24 hours prior to their scheduled performance. This allows patrons to request a refund of their ticket purchase (less the processing fees) within 14 days of their cancelled performance. To purchase "Performance Cancellation Insurance" choose continue shopping and chose the date that matches your performance.
