Celebrate a coastal vacation in truly festive style at this unique event that puts Ocracoke’s Latino Community in the spotlight. This exceptional night of food, drinks, music, and dancing is a wonderfully fun way for visitors to discover a cool aspect of this community while enjoying all the worldly and tempting flavors of Ocracoke village.
The event kicks off with fresh Latino fare – including homemade and authentic Mexican tacos – which are available for eat-in or to-go customers at the Ocracoke Community Square throughout the day and the afternoon. After a filling bite to eat, visitors are welcome to join in the fun of an assortment of games, dancing, and Hispanic music which will start at 9:00 p.m. at the Ocracoke Community Center. A cash bar and soft drinks will be available all night long, and the $5 entrance fee covers access to the event and also provides funds for a worthwhile local cause – namely, the upcoming Festival Latino de Ocracoke which is held later in the year on November 11. Fun for music and food lovers of all tastes, this event in the heart of the village serves as a unique, eclectic, and completely unforgettable addition to any Ocracoke Island vacation.
