Take a break from the active fun in the sun, and relax on a shaded porch with a little live music at this special concert that’s part of the Summer Concert Series hosted by Bluegrass Island Trading Co. Acclaimed bluegrass band A Deeper Shade Of Blue will be providing the music, and visitors can enjoy an evening of “pickin’ on the porch” with a great session of live music that will impress music lovers of all tastes.
The concert is part of a six week summer series that will bring in unique talents from all across the southeastern North Carolina, and which will shine a spotlight on bluegrass. Held in the scenic town of Manteo, visitors can effortlessly enjoy the local atmosphere that has tons of small-town charm and classic Outer Banks appeal. The show starts at 6:00 and interested attendees are encouraged to bring along their own beach chair or blanket to relax and enjoy the night of fantastic tunes. Best of all, the summer show is free to all visitors, so all music fans have to do is show up, kick off the flip flops, and relax. A fun outing for family members of all ages, this summer performance by A Deeper Shade of Blue will be a great time for everyone in the party.
