Walk through the museum and gain knowledge of the birthplace of aviation and then put this knowledge to the test outside with Kitty Hawk Kites. Large kites will be on display throughout the weekend, joining in the sky with the Wright Memorial!

Take flight where flight first began with Kitty Hawk Kites and the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Enjoy a walk through the museum, and on the hollowed grounds where Wilbur and Orville took their historic first flight in 1903, then come join us for some fun flight of your own.

Large 30 - 100 foot kites will be flying high on display. We invite you to come fly kites of your own, take FREE stunt and power kite flying lessons, and bring the kiddos on over to our kite making station.
