OBX Inshore Charters

OBX Inshore Charters invites you for a fun and exciting day on the beautiful waters of Wanchese, North Carolina. Whether you fish its inshore and nearshore waters, reefs, wrecks, or backcountry, there will be fish on the bite everywhere. Captain Matt Anderson will take you to the best spots and help you have a great experience on the water. Join him and have fun catching fish!

You’ll fish from a restored 26’ Southern Skimmer center console that can sit up to 4 anglers. Thanks to its navigation electronics and a 250 HP Yamaha engine, it will take you to the fish quickly and safely. The boat has got a flybridge and toilet, and features a multimedia system and an ice-box. Also, there’s a livewell to supply you with live bait.

Some of the species you’ll have the chance to target are Spanish and King Mackerel, Bluefish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, as well as Sheepshead. Using light tackle, you and the captain will catch them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, and drift fishing. You get to keep all the fish you catch and you’re free to bring kids to your trip.

All the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, as well as fishing licenses will be ready for you on board when you arrive. What you should bring are just some snacks and drinks.
