The Alice Kelly Memorial Tournament has been a tradition on the Outer Banks for more than 30 years, and is one of the most famous offshore fishing tournaments where only the ladies are allowed to compete.

The event launches from the famed Pirate’s Cove Marina, and during the multiple-day event, anglers will head out to the offshore waters of the Gulf Stream to target the big catches that the Outer Banks is known for. Teams compete every year in a variety of categories, with lots of big cash prizes waiting for the winners at the docks. At the end of each day, anglers can kick off the boat shoes and relax at Pirate’s Cove, while toasting another day of fishing and gearing up for the next day’s adventures.

The tournament effectively attracts the best female anglers from all along the coast, and ties in with the famous Pirate’s Cove Tournament, which has also been going strong for a solid 30+ years, (and even longer.) A must for any angler who wants to test their mettle against the best of the best on the Outer Banks, Alice Kelly Memorial Tournament allows the ladies to shine while enjoying a full session of fishing along the North Carolina coastline.
