Pirate's Cove Marina

Situated at the foot of the Washington Baum Bridge on the Nags Head-Manteo Causeway is the world-class Pirate's Cove Marina. It's just 10 miles inside Oregon Inlet via a deep- water channel in the Roanoke Sound. The protected basin averages between 7 and 8 feet at mean low tide, and clearance under the Washington Baum Bridge averages 60 feet at mean high tide.

Several charter boats run out of Pirate's Cove for off-shore fishing trips in the Gulf Stream, or shorter in-shore and near-shore fishing trips. Call the booking desk for reservations. The marina is also the site of many fishing tournaments during the year.

Transient boat docking is available for overnight or longer stays. Amenities include an onsite restaurant, laundry facilities, fueling stations, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Pirate's Cove Marina also offers a full service Ship's Store stocked with off-shore fishing tackle, boating gear, sodas, snacks, wine and beer, resort-wear, gifts and other sundry items
